Password quality requirements
- the minimum password length is 12 characters,
- it must contain characters from minimally three containers of characters,
- the containers of characters are: [a-z], [A-Z], [0-9], [! #% & () [] *,. / :; <=>? @ ^ _ `{|} ~ -]
- letters must not contain diacritics or space,
- it must not contain your first name, last name, personal number or user name,
- the user is obliged to change the password on a regular basis, in a maximum interval of 365 days,
- user´s authentication will be blocked if he/she does not set a new password for more than 365 days,
- the two last used passwords must not be used as the new password,
- the user can set up a new password during a period of 135 days after the password has been blocked,
- the user will be notified when the password expiry date approaches,
- CTU passwords are stored in the university-wide Active Directory system so that the password cannot be decrypted retrospectively.
