Commercial Data Protection
The main difference between the basic and secure Copilot service is data protection. Chat data is not stored, Microsoft does not have access to it, and it is not used to train other baseline models. When commercial data protection is active, it is indicated by a green shield icon and the words “Protected“.
Copilot does not include features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Whiteboard, Loop, 365 Chat, and Teams.
