The applications throughout the university are maintained by different providers, most of which you’ll find in the footer of each webpage. If that is not the case, it is likely that the application is maintained by the university part responsible for the given domain. For example an application at the address https://something.fs.cvut.cz/ is managed by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FS).
Generally the following can be applied:
- to troubleshoot a problem with your PC, printer, Internet connection or a service provided by your faculty or other university part, always contact your local IT department,
- likewise, also contact the IT team responsible for your faculty or university part to request building access, resolve problems with your CTU password, or ask about contact details,
- for support with a university-wide application or service, contact the Computing and Information Centre (CIC).

The technical support of the Faculty of Information Technology is provided by the ICT department of the faculty. It provides these services to staff, students or other individuals working at FIT and at the same time provides faculty-specific ICT services. It provides support for these services primarily through the faculty helpdesk – HelpDesk FIT.
