RECOMMENDED: Enable passwordless sign-in in Microsoft Authenticator

Passwordless sign-in is a more secure and convenient alternative to traditional password-based login. Microsoft Authenticator allows you to verify your identity using biometrics (fingerprint, facial recognition) or a PIN directly in the app. During the activation process, your device will be registered with the ČVUT Entra system.

  1. On your phone, open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
  2. In the app, select your Work or school account.
  3. Enable the option Enable phone sign-in
  4. The app will guide you through the setup step by step.
    1. During the process, you will be asked to verify your identity:
      1. Enter your PIN or use biometric verification (e.g., fingerprint or face recognition).
      2. The app will confirm that you are the rightful owner of the account.
  5. Once the verification process is complete, a confirmation of successful setup will appear.
