Starting 2025-12-01 the Computing and Information Centre is taking over the operations of the CTU Digital Library (our institutional repository based on DSpace). We are preparing a migration to the latest version of the DSpace 9 open source software package, as well as a significant improvement of the server infrastructure. The new DSpace version should improve stability, bring new functionalities and above all, ensure a clear road ahead for the system. The current Digital Library system has become outdated, therefore the upgrade is very much needed. In the first phase just the basic functionalities of the CTU Digital Library will be available, so users may miss some improvements made to the original version, such as the integration of altmetrics. However, we are planning further development of the CTU Digital Library in the years to come using the recently awarded funding from the Jan Amos Comenius operational programme.
